Gsendfile is a frontend to the unix-tools sendfile and receive, which are an unix
implementation of the saft protocoll. Saft (simple ansyncronous file transfer protocoll) is used to
transfer files between hosts and users, but more like e-mail then like ftp.
If you want to find out more, visit the
saft homepage.
Requirements for gsendfile:
The gnome stuff and intltool should be part of any recent gnomeinstallation. Sendfile and receive are part,
of most distributions, but usually not part of the standard installation. Fam is used for nautilus, too,
so if you are using nautilus, there's a chance you have installed fam, too.
